Prep Time 30 minutes mins
Cook Time 5 minutes mins
Total Time 35 minutes mins
- 12- ounce package of semi-sweet chocolate chips or high-quality chocolate, such as Ghirardelli, chopped into pieces for melting
- 8 ounces mini pretzel twists about half of a standard 16-ounce bag
- 11- ounce bag of Kraft Caramel Bits or homemade caramel
- Sea salt for sprinkling
Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Melt 8 ounces of the chocolate chips in the microwave on low heat, stirring every 15 seconds, until smooth.
Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the parchment paper. Immediately place the pretzel twists on top (it's fine if they overlap!) and gently press them into the chocolate.
In a microwave-safe bowl, add the caramel bits and 2 tablespoons of water, then melt according to the package instructions (typically on high for 2 minutes). Stir well and drizzle the melted caramel over the pretzels.
Melt the remaining 4 ounces of chocolate and drizzle it over the caramel layer. Finish by sprinkling with sea salt.
Refrigerate until the mixture has hardened.
Once set, cut or tear into pieces and enjoy!
