Salted Caramel Ice Cream

Salted Caramel Ice Cream is a rich, indulgent treat that combines sweet caramel and a hint of sea salt for the perfect balance of flavors. It’s easily customizable and can be made ahead of time for any occasion.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup of Dulce de leche
  • 2 cups of Heavy cream
  • 1 cup of Whole milk
  • ¼ teaspoon of fine Sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Using a hand blender or stand mixer, blend the dulce de leche, milk, and salt until fully combined.
  • Gently mix in the heavy cream with a spatula (do not blend).
  • If desired, refrigerate the mixture for 1-2 hours before churning.
  • Stir the mixture and pour it into the ice cream maker bowl.
  • Churn the mixture for approximately 25-30 minutes.
  • Transfer the salted caramel ice cream to a container that is safe for the freezer.
  • Freeze the ice cream for 5-6 hours before serving.

Notes

If the dulce de leche is too thick, you can soften it by microwaving it for 20-25 seconds.
