  • ▢ 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ▢ 1/2 cup of milk
  • ▢ 3/4 cup of Greek yogurt can be substituted with mayonnaise or sour cream
  • ▢ 3/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese divided
  • ▢ 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ▢ 3/4 teaspoon each of garlic powder onion powder, and paprika
  • ▢ Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • ▢ Optional garnish: chopped parsley and red chili flakes

Instructions
 

  • Slice each chicken breast into two strips (or three if the pieces are particularly large). Place the sliced chicken in a bowl and pour in the milk, making sure the pieces are fully coated. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or ideally overnight in the refrigerator.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a small mixing bowl, stir together the Greek yogurt, half of the grated Parmesan cheese, and the spices—salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper to taste. Transfer the marinated chicken strips into a 9×13-inch baking dish. Lightly season the chicken with additional salt if desired. Spread the yogurt mixture evenly over the chicken pieces. Top with the remaining Parmesan cheese and a light dusting of extra paprika.
  • Bake the chicken for 40 minutes, then switch the oven to broil for a few minutes to develop a golden, slightly crisp top.
