Ingredients
  

  • 3 chicken breasts cut into strips
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup honey
  • cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • ¼ cup rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and lemon juice. Stir to combine and set aside.
  • Cut the chicken breasts into strips.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the cornstarch, black pepper, and salt. Toss the chicken strips in the cornstarch mixture, ensuring they are well-coated, and then add the coated chicken strips to the skillet.
  • Cook the chicken over medium-high heat until it is golden brown on both sides.
  • Add butter to the skillet and melt. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  • Pour the honey glaze mixture over the chicken in the skillet and cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens and the chicken is cooked through.
  • As the glaze is cooking, continuously spoon the glaze over the chicken.
  • Serve the chicken over steamed rice and enjoy!
