- 3 chicken breasts cut into strips
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup honey
- ⅔ cup soy sauce
- ½ cup lemon juice
- ¼ cup rice vinegar
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
In a small bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and lemon juice. Stir to combine and set aside.
Cut the chicken breasts into strips.
In a medium bowl, combine the cornstarch, black pepper, and salt. Toss the chicken strips in the cornstarch mixture, ensuring they are well-coated, and then add the coated chicken strips to the skillet.
Cook the chicken over medium-high heat until it is golden brown on both sides.
Add butter to the skillet and melt. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Pour the honey glaze mixture over the chicken in the skillet and cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens and the chicken is cooked through.
As the glaze is cooking, continuously spoon the glaze over the chicken.
