Total Time 20 minutes mins
- ½ tablespoon avocado oil
- 2 pounds steak cut into small bite-sized pieces
- 2 teaspoons salt
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
- 2 tablespoons butter or ghee
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- ¼ cup chopped parsley
- Green onion for garnish
Season the Steak: Sprinkle the steak bites with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss until the steak is evenly coated.
Heat the Skillet: Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the avocado oil to the hot pan.
Sear the Steak: Add the seasoned steak bites to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the steak is browned. Depending on the skillet size, you may need to work in batches. Once browned, remove the steak from the pan and set aside.
Prepare the Butter Sauce: Remove any excess liquid from the skillet, then melt the butter or ghee in the pan. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Combine and Finish: Return the steak bites to the skillet, stirring them into the butter sauce for 1-2 minutes to coat thoroughly.
Add Fresh Herbs: Remove the pan from heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Garnish with green onion and serve immediately.
