- ¼ cup ½ stick unsalted butter
- ½ cup long-grain white rice not instant
- 1 ½ cups water
- 2 teaspoons chicken Better Than Bouillon base
- 4 garlic cloves minced
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt ¼ cup (½ stick) unsalted butter.
Once melted, add ½ cup long-grain white rice and stir until it turns a light golden color, about 2 minutes.
Add 1 ½ cups water and 2 teaspoons chicken Better Than Bouillon base, stirring until the bouillon has dissolved.
Then, add 4 minced garlic cloves and stir them into the mixture.
Cover the skillet and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender. Stir and serve immediately.
