Fried Pineapple Rings

Ingredients
  

  • 1 small pineapple peeled and cored
  • ▢ 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • ▢ 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ▢ 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions
 

  • Slice the pineapple into bite-sized chunks. (Check the video below for instructions on how to cut the pineapple.)
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the pineapple, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the butter.
  • Once the butter has melted, arrange the pineapple pieces in a single layer and fry for 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
  • Serve as a side dish or pair with vanilla ice cream.

Storage: Store leftovers in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
