small pineapple
peeled and cored
▢ 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
▢ 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
▢ 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Instructions
Slice the pineapple into bite-sized chunks. (Check the video below for instructions on how to cut the pineapple.)
In a large mixing bowl, combine the pineapple, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the butter.
Once the butter has melted, arrange the pineapple pieces in a single layer and fry for 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
Serve as a side dish or pair with vanilla ice cream.
