Total Time 1 hour hr 5 minutes mins
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 28 oz jar of spaghetti sauce
- 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- A pinch of garlic salt
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package directions until al dente, about 12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain well and set aside.
While the pasta cooks, heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, stirring frequently, until browned and crumbly, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain any excess fat, then stir in the spaghetti sauce and simmer briefly to combine.
In a large bowl, combine the hot, drained spaghetti with the softened cream cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of garlic salt. Stir until the cream cheese melts and evenly coats the pasta.
Spoon a thin layer of the meat sauce into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Add the cream cheese-coated spaghetti over the sauce, then spread the remaining meat sauce on top. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
