  • 2 8-ounce cans of crescent rolls
  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups of Sprite 7 Up, or another lemon-lime soda
  • 2 apples Golden Delicious or Granny Smith

Instructions

  • Butter a 13x9-inch baking dish and preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Peel and core the apples, then slice each apple into 8 pieces.

  • Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the dumplings are golden brown.
  • Serve warm.
