Ingredients

  • 12 chicken tenders about 1¼ pounds
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • ½ cup seasoned breadcrumbs*
  • ½ cup seasoned panko*
  • Olive oil spray
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  • Season the chicken tenders with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Add the beaten eggs to a shallow bowl. In another shallow bowl, mix together the seasoned breadcrumbs and seasoned panko.
  • Dip each chicken tender into the egg, then coat in the breadcrumb-panko mixture, shaking off any excess before placing them on a large dish or cutting board. Generously spray both sides of the breaded chicken with olive oil spray.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  • Working in batches, air fry the chicken tenders for 5 to 6 minutes per side, or until they are golden, crispy, and cooked through. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
