Total Time 35 minutes mins
- 12 chicken tenders about 1¼ pounds
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
- ½ cup seasoned breadcrumbs*
- ½ cup seasoned panko*
- Olive oil spray
- Lemon wedges for serving
Season the chicken tenders with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Add the beaten eggs to a shallow bowl. In another shallow bowl, mix together the seasoned breadcrumbs and seasoned panko.
Dip each chicken tender into the egg, then coat in the breadcrumb-panko mixture, shaking off any excess before placing them on a large dish or cutting board. Generously spray both sides of the breaded chicken with olive oil spray.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
Working in batches, air fry the chicken tenders for 5 to 6 minutes per side, or until they are golden, crispy, and cooked through. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
